Wesley joined FWC as a Project Manager/Superintendent in 2020 and was promoted to Vice President of Construction in December 2023. With nearly 20 years of experience in the West Michigan construction industry, he brings a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to successfully deliver projects from concept through completion.
After attending Central Michigan University, Wesley accepted an internship with a commercial contractor, an opportunity that quickly turned into a long-term career. It was there he discovered not just an interest in construction, but a genuine passion for the work, the problem-solving, and the people behind it.
Since joining FWC, Wesley has continued to grow his knowledge across every phase of the construction process. His experience in both field operations and project management gives him a unique perspective, allowing him to bridge the gap between planning and execution. In his current role, he plays a key part in leading teams, supporting project managers and superintendents, and ensuring that every project aligns with FWC’s standards.
Wesley’s leadership is rooted in accountability, communication, and consistency. His attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure help drive projects forward, keeping them on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. More importantly, he understands that successful projects are built on strong relationships, and he works to maintain clear, honest communication with clients, partners, and team members throughout the process.
Outside of work, Wesley stays just as active. He and his wife, Nicole, have three children: Autumn, Declan, and Rowan, who keep their family calendar full. Whether it’s traveling, enjoying music, or spending time outdoors, they value making the most of their time together.
When he does find a little downtime, Wesley enjoys hunting, gardening, and taking on projects around the house. Even outside of work, he’s always building, improving, or finding the next thing to work on which says a lot about the kind of mindset he brings to FWC every day.
