Jake joined FWC in 2024 as a Project Superintendent. He grew up in Howard City, Michigan and is a graduate of Tri-County High School. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Jake has developed a well-rounded skill set through working in a variety of roles and environments.
He was drawn to FWC by the company’s strong family-like culture and the opportunity to continue growing his knowledge in construction. Jake has appreciated the support and encouragement from the Wahlfield team and has enjoyed the transition to working within a construction management approach, bringing a new perspective to how projects are planned and executed.
Jake values the challenge each project brings and takes pride in being part of a team that works together to deliver quality results while building strong relationships along the way.
Outside of work, Jake and his wife, Heather, have four children, with the oldest and youngest being 13 years apart. Their family enjoys spending time together “glamping,” boating in the summer, and hosting Halloween and Christmas parties during the each year. When he gets the chance, Jake also enjoys hunting in the fall and ice fishing in the winter.
