Bill VanderJagt joined FWC as a Project Superintendent in 2016, bringing with him decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry. A graduate of Coopersville High School, Bill built his career with a strong foundation in commercial masonry, including owning and operating VJ Construction Inc. until 2015.
Throughout his career, Bill has taken on a variety of roles—from foreman for masonry and cement crews to project superintendent and estimator with VanderJagt Bros. Construction. His well-rounded background in general construction, concrete, and masonry gives him a practical, field-first perspective that adds real value to every project he’s involved in.
At FWC, Bill plays a key role in keeping projects on track, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and to the standards our clients expect. He takes pride in the challenge of seeing a project through from start to finish and the problem-solving that comes with it.
Outside of work, Bill and his wife Anne have three children, Linda, Julie, and Marie, and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, hobby farming, hunting, and making the most of time at their family property on Drummond Island.
