Lakeshore Elementary Renovation Underway This Summer

Summer is heating up—no, summer is HOT! 🥵 And so is the work going on at West Ottawa Public Schools’ Lakeshore Elementary! 🏫


This Lakeshore Elementary renovation includes an interior overhaul with new carpet and paint throughout the school, along with updated mechanical systems to provide AC to classrooms, the cafeteria, and the gym. Additional upgrades include new filtered drinking fountains and electronic door safety locks to enhance both comfort and security. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫


With a tight 10-week timeline, everything is moving quickly to be ready before students return in August. Check out the beginning stages of this project—and come back later this summer to see the full transformation! 💙🖤
