Earth Day is a reminder that how we build matters, especially when it comes to preserving and enhancing the outdoor spaces our communities rely on.

At Wahlfield Park (Kent County) in the Comstock Park & Alpine area, that balance between construction and conservation is nearly complete.

This Kent County park development project is transforming an already popular destination for hiking and mountain biking into a space that offers even more ways to experience the outdoors.

🐾 The 10-acre enclosed dog park is nearing completion

  • Small + large dog areas

  • Open activity field

  • Crushed stone walking trails through natural areas

  • Swimming pond with dog beach + jumping dock

🏗️ New park construction features include: Four-season family-style restroom with dog wash station• Additional restroom for hikers and mountain bikers

📍 Grand Opening: Summer 2026

As a West Michigan commercial construction company, we’re proud to be part of projects that support parks and recreation, community development, and outdoor spaces that will be used for generations.

Earth Day is a good reminder—building it better means building with intention.
