Commercial Fire Restoration | JK Masonry Renovation Project

At A Glance:

Following significant smoke and water damage caused by a fire in April 2025, Fritz Wahlfield Construction completed a comprehensive restoration and renovation project for JK Masonry’s office and warehouse facilities. This commercial fire restoration project included the renovation of approximately 2,000 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet of warehouse space, restoring functionality while modernizing key areas throughout the building.

Within the office portion of the facility, the project featured all new interior finishes, updated casework, and a reworked layout designed to better support daily operations. Throughout the warehouse, extensive cleaning of the existing building structure was completed to address smoke damage, along with the demolition and replacement of portions of the damaged pre-engineered roof structure. A new EPDM roofing system with skylights was installed as part of the restoration efforts.

Additional work included the demolition and reinstallation of electrical systems, as well as the replacement of overhead doors and fire-rated doors throughout the facility. Through careful coordination and phased restoration efforts, the project successfully returned the building to operational use while providing updated systems and improved functionality for the future.
