Brookwood Elementary School underwent a comprehensive Phase I renovation project in 2020, completing a series of school HVAC and interior renovation upgrades in preparation for a larger building addition and full facility transformation. This initial phase focused on improving building performance, updating finishes, and enhancing the overall learning environment.

Upgrades included the installation of new exterior windows and doors throughout the school, improving energy efficiency, security, and natural light. Inside the building, ceiling systems were replaced with new acoustic tiles, and both hallways and classrooms received fresh interior paint, creating a brighter and more modern atmosphere for students and staff.

In addition to these visual improvements, a new VUV (vertical unit ventilator) system was installed to provide air conditioning throughout the entire school, significantly improving indoor air quality and occupant comfort—an important enhancement for year-round learning environments.

This project represents the first phase of a two-part K-12 construction and renovation project, setting the foundation for future expansion and continued facility improvements at Brookwood Elementary.
