At a Glance:

We have completed a new 42,500-square-foot Early Childhood Center with Kentwood Public Schools, purposefully designed to support early childhood education, student development, and modern learning environments. Located adjacent to Townline Elementary, this state-of-the-art educational facility provides a safe, engaging, and flexible space for the district’s youngest learners.

The design of the new center emphasizes student safety, accessibility, and long-term durability, while incorporating sustainable building practices and innovative technology. The facility features a welcoming main lobby and community gathering spaces, creating a central hub for students, families, and staff.

Inside, the building includes a multi-purpose sensory room and two thoughtfully designed classroom wings, each tailored to support collaborative learning, play-based education, and developmental growth. Every classroom is directly connected to outdoor playground areas, allowing for seamless integration of indoor and outdoor learning experiences.

The project reflects a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and educational excellence, providing a versatile environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills for lifelong learning.

This new Townline Early Childhood Center construction project highlights a forward-thinking approach to K-12 educational facility design, delivering a modern space that supports both students and the broader community.
