This project began with the complete demolition of the existing structures at 220/228 Division Avenue in Sparta, Michigan, clearing the site for a new mixed-use development designed to support both commercial and residential needs.

A brand-new XX,XXX-square-foot building was constructed, featuring a thoughtfully designed layout that combines ground-level retail space with upper-level residential units. The lower level includes three retail “white box” spaces, providing flexible, ready-to-finish environments for future tenants and businesses. These spaces are ideal for a variety of commercial retail or service-based uses, allowing for customization based on tenant needs.

Above the retail level, the building includes three residential apartments, offering modern living spaces within a walkable, mixed-use setting. The design balances functionality and aesthetics, contributing to the continued growth and revitalization of the surrounding area.

This project highlights a comprehensive approach to mixed-use construction and urban development, combining site demolition, new building construction, and flexible tenant-ready spaces to support both economic development and community living.
