The West Wing of the East Kentwood High School was revamped in 2020. Interior partition walls were removed in 17 classrooms and replaced with masonry walls to better sound proof each space. New ceilings, with LED lighting, were also installed in each classroom as well as in the corridors of the West Wing. Both spaces received new carpet, paint and upgraded technology wiring, which included additional data drops and power outlets.

FWC also assisted with selecting new classroom furniture. These upgrades were installed to create a more flexible space for the staff and better learning environment for the students.
