John joined FWC as the Director of Business Development in 2020. John grew up working in his father’s masonry business in the Lansing, Michigan area. He later graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Teaching. In 1990, John moved to West Michigan where he was both a teacher and principal for Kentwood Public Schools. John retired from KPS as the Principal of East Kentwood High School in 2016. His experience of working in the construction field with his father as well as his focus on leading with a servant’s heart make him a natural fit with the values of FWC. He works every day to serve the needs of our clients.

John and his wife Missy have two children, John and Mackenzie. They have spent many hours watching them participate in multiple sporting events. He also loves to golf and cook (a work in progress) for his family.
